Crushing of the shoots

The shoots are mechanically milled to restore organic matter to the plot.
The natural degradation of this raw material serves as an organic input and is fully correlated with our goal of #conversion into organic agriculture. 🌿
As a reminder, the conversion period is a transition period from conventional or rational agriculture to organic farming.
At La Suffrène we have been doing practices similar to those used in organic farming for about ten years now. It was important for us to formalize what we had been doing for several years, in order to enhance our production of wine (2021) and olive oil (2020) with the AB label. 🌱
